I earned a degree in Computer Science, where I found joy in side projects that blended hardware and software. That curiosity led me to work in development and operations, which felt like the perfect middle ground: hands-on, highly technical, and focused on the systems that support everything behind the scenes. Over time, I wanted to shift into software engineering so I could build more directly with users in mind.

Startups became the ideal environment for that transition. I was able to apply my background in development and operations while growing as a software engineer. I enjoy the challenge, but even more so the satisfaction of seeing my work released to production and used by real people on a regular basis. Eventually, I found my way into the weather technology space, where the impact of my work feels truly meaningful. It is about more than just code—it is about helping people prepare for and adapt to the world around them.

My multicultural background has fueled a deep curiosity about the world and a comfort with the unknown, even when it is a bit intimidating. That curiosity powers my love of travel, which has taken me to places like Vietnam, Thailand, Morocco, India, Easter Island, Chile, the Galápagos Islands, Finland, England, France, and across the U.S.

When I’m not coding, I love hiking and getting outdoors. I’ve summited 10 of Colorado’s 14ers (mountains over 14,000 feet), and I’m always looking for my next adventure — whether it’s a trail, a side project, or a new city to explore.
